Story and Mission

Lens Craft was created to help women build confidence and creativity through photography. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, I offer workshops and learning experiences that make photography simple, inspiring, and accessible — no matter your skill level. My mission is to create a welcoming space where women can learn at their own pace, connect with others, and discover the joy of capturing the world through their own unique lens.

Meet Kate Hollister

I’ve always loved the way photography lets us pause the world for just a moment — to notice light, connection, and beauty in the everyday. What started as a curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion, leading me to complete an Advanced Diploma of Photography at TAFE SA and explore everything from portraits and events to creative street photography.

Over the years, I noticed something: so many women wanted to learn photography, but felt overwhelmed by the technical side or unsure where to start. That’s why I created Lens Craft — a space where learning feels simple, supportive, and inspiring.

My workshops and courses are built on real-world experience and a belief that photography should be joyful, not intimidating. Whether we’re walking Adelaide’s streets or experimenting with natural light indoors, I love helping women discover their own creative confidence — one beautiful image at a time.
